One of the most important questions that people want the answer to right now is ‘when will the COVID-19 pandemic end?’ While scientists have not (and cannot) promise a date, there are certain speculations that mass vaccination would stop the spread of the infection and help bring back society to normal or as normal as possible in a post-COVID-19 world.

The COVID‑19 pandemic, also known as the coronavirus pandemic, is an ongoing global pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‑19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‑CoV‑2). The outbreak was first identified in Wuhan, China, in December 2019.

After that the World Health Organization declared the outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on 30 January 2020 and a pandemic on 11 March. As of 23 July 2020, more than 15.2 million cases of COVID‑19 have been reported in more than 188 countries and territories, resulting in more than 623,000 deaths; more than 8.66 million people have recovered till now.

Corona cases are increasing rapidly in India. Now India has joined the top countries of the world where corona cases are the highest level. However, the death toll is lower here than in other countries.

Human trial of the first corona virus vaccine Covaxin made in India has started in AIIMS, Delhi. the initial dose of vaccine can be given to volunteers. AIIMS Delhi is one of the 12 places in the country where Covaxin is being tried. The sample size here is the largest in the country, so the results here will decide the direction of the entire research. Vaccine trials are already underway at AIIMS Patna and Rohtak PGI. When Will ISRO launch Aditya L1 ? India's First sun mission

What is Aditya L1 ?

Aditya-L1 is a spacecraft mission to study the Sun. It has been designed and will be built in collaboration between the Indian Space Research Organisation  and various Indian research institutes. It is the first Indian mission to study the sun. Aditya is a sanskrit word, which means sun.

It is called Aditya L1 because the mission will be inserted in a halo orbit around the L1 point, which is about 1.5 million km from Earth. Here L1 is defined as a Lagrangian point.

Why to study sun ?

Sun is very important part of our life. The sun is Earth's closest star. It provides energy that allows life to exist on our planet, but that energy comes at a cost, the sun has a variable environment that includes solar flares, coronal mass ejections of charged particles and the solar wind.

It is important for scientists to have a better understanding of how the sun behaves on a daily basis, because radiation emanating from it can affect astronauts or satellites in space.

Aditya L1 budget

The mission cost is not yet confirmed but by the sources data the mission cost is ₹378.53 crore excluding launch.

When Aditya L1 will Launch ?

It was planned to Launch during early 2020 but Covid -19 pandemic made it delay. By some media sources it is confirmed that ISRO will launch Aditya L1 at the end of 2020, which means in december.
